Laurent Guillot is an artist who works in Lucite, crystal, and glass. He has worked in the fashion industry in Paris for over 25 years, creating dramatic jewelry for Yves Saint Laurent, Chanel, Courreges, Guy Laroche, Baccarat, Swarovski, and many others.
Laurent’s training started in painting restoration, where he mastered a range of techniques. He has transferred his knowledge of gold and silver leaf, painting, and layering to his jewelry.
The result is a line of very contemporary, modern Lucite jewelry. It is bold, with clean lines, and the way it catches and reflects light projects a subtlety and strength.
Laurent's workshop is in the outskirts of Paris, where he makes each piece individually by hand.
Please note, Lucite is different from resin, acrylic and plastic in that it cannot be mass-produced. Nothing wrong with buying cheap costume jewelry...but it's not Laurent Guillot Lucite!
